    By Jubair Hossin Babu, 05/17/2024

Apple launched its first tablets with OLED displays, and it certainly brings a huge upgrade in terms of display quality. However, some early adopters are reporting issues with the panel. Multiple posts on Reddit reveal a strange grainy issue. The opinions come mostly from user forums, and neither Apple nor Samsung Display have addressed it officially yet. The reports say that the grainy effect is visible from up close, and it is really bothersome for artists. Speculations are this might be an issue with a misalignment of the two parts of what Apple calls "tandem OLED display"....

  3. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6's foldable screen to have a smaller crease

    By Jubair Hossin Babu, 05/17/2024

Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip6 is coming this July alongside the Galaxy Z Fold6, and it's apparently going to feature a small but important upgrade. According to a new report from Samsung's home of Korea, the Flip6 will use thicker ultra-thin glass (UTG) than its predecessor. This will result in a less pronounced crease running through the middle of the folding screen, which is obviously good news considering how a lot of Samsung's competitors now boast minimal, if not downright indiscernible creases. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 Interestingly, this won't be achieved by changing the design of...

    By Jubair Hossin Babu, 05/17/2024

Back in July of last year, Elon Musk unveiled his plan to rebrand Twitter to X. This has been going on ever since, and today the final step is complete - the Twitter.com domain now redirects to X.com. Previously, X.com links would redirect to Twitter.com, even though the UI of the service has featured the new name for months. Today, Elon Musk himself triumphantly announced on X (where else?) that all core systems are now using the X.com domain. All core systems are now on https://t.co/bOUOek5Cvy pic.twitter.com/cwWu3h2vzr— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) May 17, 2024 It's the last nail in the...
