Samsung revealed today two new milestones for its memory business. The company is now sampling 256 GB SD Express microSD cards, and also revealed it commenced mass production of 1 TB UHS-1 microSD cards. The SD Express cards by Samsung can reach up to 800 MB/s read speed, which is faster than a SATA SSD (up to 560 MB/s) and 4x faster than traditional UHS-1 memory cards (up to 200 MB/s).
