A tipster on Weibo with still-questionable accuracy claims that Apple suppliers have already sent iPad Air samples to the US and it is possible that the device will be offered in two variants - with a glossy or matte screen. The same applies to the upcoming iPad Pro. However, it's unclear whether the tipster meant a full-fledged matte finish or an anti-reflective coating like the one on the Pro Display XDR from 2019.
