Lava O2 was announced today in India. The company claimed it is the fastest phone in its $100 segment thanks to its chipset, which is Unisoc T616 with an octa-core CPU. The O2 also has a 50 MP camera, showing that entry-level phones have come a long way lately. It gets a flat 6.5” LCD with HD+ resolution and up to 90 Hz refresh rate. The selfie camera is sitting inside a punch hole and has an 8 MP sensor. There are two cameras at the back, but only the 50 MP main one is actually useful.
