Last week China Mobile announced the official launch of 5G-Advanced (aka 5.5G) - the next step in mobile connectivity which promises improvements to speed, latency and stability over regular 5G. Oppo quickly announced its plans to bring 5G-Advanced (5GA aka 5.5G) to its Find X7 series and now fellow BBK Group member vivo is also set to join the ranks.
vivo X Fold3, X Fold 3 Pro and the X100 series will be among the first devices to get 5.5G later this month with an OTA update. The iQOO 12 series and iQOO Neo 9 series are also scheduled to receive 5.5G support.
