One of every seven iPhones is now made in India

Apple assembled $14 billion worth of iPhones in India during the last fiscal year. This is double the amount from the previous period, marking a push towards reducing its dependency on China. According to Bloomberg, one in seven iPhones is now made in India, which is about 14% of the total output. Apple decided to move some of the device production to India, following the geopolitical tension between the United States and China.
