Apple reportedly suspends Vision Pro 2's development as it aims to release cheaper model next year

A few months ago, we heard the Apple Vision Pro 2 wasn't coming until at least August 2025. However, The Information claims Apple has suspended work on the Vision Pro 2 and aims to release a cheaper model in late 2025. The publication claims that the number of employees assigned to Vision Pro 2's development had gradually decreased, and Apple told at least one of its suppliers that it had suspended work on the second-gen Vision Pro.
