OpenAI’s ChatGPT app for MacOS is now available as a free download. The app was previously exclusive for ChatGPT Plus since last month. The desktop app is only available for macOS 14+ devices with Apple Silicon (M1 or better). ChatGPT for MacOS Users can summon ChatGPT from any screen on their device by pressing the Option + Space keys. The app UI looks similar to ChatGPT on the web and supports multi-modal search options.
