A new update is rolling out, bringing Gemini AI to Google Messages after Gmail already got the AI treatment and Google announcing the move more than a week ago. The feature isn't widely available yet, so you might have to wait a bit longer for the update. Essentially, Gemini AI is the same exact service as the standalone app on Android, but since it's integrated into the Messages app, it's easier to access and you can ask questions or give instructions on the go without having to close the Messages app. A new floating action button is said to appear on top of the "Start chat" button...
