Xiaomi announced today the ultra-affordable Redmi A3 smartphone. It has a leather-like finish on the back design, a big display with 90 Hz refresh rate, and runs Android 14. Redmi A3 comes with a Helio G36 chipset, which was the same as the predecessor A2. However, here, RAM is either 3 GB, 4 GB, or 6 GB, as opposed to the 2/3/4 GB options that the predecessor had. The extra memory was clearly deemed enough by Xiaomi to transition the A3 to the full Android 14 instead of the Android 13 Go edition its predecessors ran.
