Apple is extending its push into sports with a dedicated Apple Sports app. The free app is now live on the App Store in the U.S, Canada and the U.K and offers play-by-play updates, stats, box scores and betting odds, the latter of which can be disabled by the user. The app comes in at 15.6MB and can be installed on any iPhone running iOS 17.2 or later. Apple Sports UI Users can select their favorite sports league and teams from the setup screen and the app will automatically present past and upcoming games for the selected teams.
